Lunar He-3 Ambient Lamp

Collected He-3 from shallow lunar regolith is sealed in a nano-chamber. When energised it ionises and emits a soft blue “moonlight”. The transparent ceramic dome is one-piece sintered in an orbital furnace so there are zero bubbles; the solid-state micro power cell keeps the lamp glowing for ten years with no wires or batteries.
